Oso is a 20 + year old QH Gelding that was donated to me by Keith Ranches.  He has limited sight in his left eye and a very mild case of  Navicular.  He is one of the sweetest and most gentle horses I have ever been around.  He isn't spooky at all on his blind side and is very well trained.  He must have been someone's show horse in his younger days and is drop dead gorgeous in the summer when he slicks off.  He is sound enough for light trailriding and is my favorite to ride although it's quite a feat to get on him.  He's 16 + hands.  He has a forever home with us.

Update 4/21/10: With the help of Shari Frederick, owner of Happy Horse Haven, Oso and Vinny have found the perfect forever home in Houston TX with Walter Z. and his family.  Thanks Shari, Walter and family!
