Welcome to Parita Creek Stables!
We are a small stable located in San Antonio, TX where we rehabilitate, train, evaluate and rehome equines in need.
We welcome and appreciate donations but they are not tax deductible at this time. We are not a 501 (c) (3).
To help defer the costs of caring for our rescues we offer gentle riding horses and used saddles for sale. We also give beginner Western riding lessons. All of our lesson horses are former rescues.
Whether they come to us by way of neglect, auction or donation, our mission remains clear and constant:
"To educate owners on the humane treatment of horses everywhere and to find homes for abused or neglected equines of all ages and descriptions."
Horses on the rescue page are currently being rehabilitated or evaluated and are not available for rehoming at this time.
