"Happy" is a 20 years young 14 hand ex Roping horse.  I was told that he went to the NFR in his younger days.  We have had him for about a year and he has been a pasture ornament most of the time.  We rode him to see how he acted and he is very responsive to your cues.  I think he will be okay for light trail riding (walking only) or as a companion. He is slightly lame due to an old wire injury but is an easy keeper and doesn't require any daily meds. He is NOT sound enough to be ridden hard or to use for roping. We rescued him from auction last year but am trying to downsize and am hoping that someone will have a heart and help him out.   He gets along well in a mixed herd and his ony vice is that he is a little hard to catch.  Adoption fee is to insure he doesn't go back to auction.
