Dozer is a 20 + year old QH Gelding that I purchased early last year.  His owner was going to send him thru the auction because he was severely lame and I was afraid he would end up slaughtered.  I pulled his shoes and discovered that he had an infection/split in the heel of both front feet.  It has taken a long time for him to heal but he is now doing great.  He is very well trained and is an excellent Beginner's horse.  We now use him for light trailriding and lessons.  He has a forever home here with us.
